Zero Contact free: what the free no contact app includes
Yes, Zero Contact is free to download and use, with no account. If you're looking for a free no contact app or a free no contact tracker, here's exactly what you get without paying, where the limits are, and what Pro adds if you ever want it.

What's free in Zero Contact
- A live no contact streak with milestones, your healing score and a small Home Screen widget.
- SOS for urges: rate the urge, breathe for a minute, read your why, get distracted or text a friend.
- Check-ins and the Progress screen, with your mood over 30 days, urges beaten and your longest streak.
- The AI coach: 3 messages a day, processed privately on your iPhone (it needs Apple Intelligence).
- Unsent: one chat with up to 20 messages that never send.
- Your why: up to 3 reasons to reread when you want to text.
- The journal, to write about your day.
- The first week of the 90-day plan: daily lessons for days 1 to 7.
That covers the hardest part of a breakup for most people: the first days, and the minutes when an urge hits. If you're just starting, read zero contact explained.
How the free version is paid for
The free version shows ads. They never appear during SOS, breathing, the coach or late at night. In the EU and UK you choose whether ads can be personalized, and you can change that any time in Settings. Sometimes you can watch a short ad to get a little more, for example 7 extra Unsent messages.
Limits that never hide your content
Free limits only stop you from creating more. Anything you've already written (reasons, unsent messages, journal entries) stays visible and yours, with or without Pro. Your data stays on your device; there's no account to sign up for.
What Pro adds
Pro is optional. It unlocks the full 90-day plan, Emergency Mode, the unlimited coach and Unsent, the reasons vault with red flags and Face ID, letters to future you, Sol, iCloud sync, PDF export, the Lock Screen urge timer, all widgets and no ads. The details, prices and free trial are in no contact tracker Pro.
Is the free version enough?
For many people, yes, especially in the first weeks. Start free, keep your streak, use SOS whenever you need it, and decide later. If you want more structure for days 8 to 90, or a way to lock tempting apps, that's when Pro helps.
